Are we talking 3:00 am in the morning or 7:00 in the morning when everyone should already be awake?
Says who? Have you ever done shift work? If someone gets home at 3 or 4 in the morning from the job, who do you think you are to tell them they don't deserve more than a couple of hours of sleep?
I’ve worked 3rd shift. Sorry, but if your work shift is alternate to the vast majority of human beings and human activity, it’s on YOU to mitigate noise issues that disturb your sleep. Earplugs and white noise machine/fan work wonders. Don’t expect the rest of the neighborhood to conform to your weird daytime sleep schedule. If your community even has a noise ordinance, you’ll note that it conforms to human activity norms and not to 3rd shift workers.
This. I work 7p-7a. I don't expect people to revolve around my sleep schedule. When my neighbors redid their roof last year, I bought things to reduce the sound.
