There are plenty of states that are doing better than MD on vaccines. I don't like Hogan, I think he's racist and incompetent and I'm glad he'll be out of office soon. I'm not sure on what basis anybody could say he's a successful governor. Maybe that's why there are so many desperate pro-Hogan posts on DCUM.
Hogan is the only Republican I vote for. It's a good balance to the far-left politics in MoCo. It was Hogan that nudged MCPS to finally start reopening. The mass vax sites are pretty well run from what I've heard (my parents went there). It's not perfect, but imagine if Elrich was governor -- we'd be way behind since the guy can't lead or make tough decisions at all.
Good for you
DP.. why the snide comment? Just because that PP disagrees with you? I agree that if Elrich were governor, we'd be dead last in vaccine rollout. He'd be too concerned with equity to rollout the vaccine efficiently which would actually hurt all MD even more. The only way to get back to normal is by achieving herd immunity which can be achieved in two ways: 1. get as many people vaccinated as possible, irrespectve of income, race, gender, politics 2. get as many people infected with covid as possible, irrespectve of income, race, gender, politics Right now, MoCo is not able to do #1, so I guess we'll be the last to get back to normal.
