The call to police, once home having gurgled half a gallon mouthwash, hour(s) after the accident, was a ploy to be able to defend against hit and run charge once a body was found the next day, i.e., "Why,[i] no sir[/i], I didn't 'hit and run,' I called it in (once I got home and de-drunk-ifiied). I honestly thought it was a deer, just listen to the 9-1-1-recording! p.s. I love 'Murica!"
