Mclean guy cares. He's here to set us all straight. The people he pays are tthe best. Therefore, he makes better investments As a result, he's a better soccer parent because he is positioning his kid for success while the rest of us are not. He needs you to understand that. Its important in the overall picture.
 +1
No, I can’t set you straight. Some people are beyond help. Enjoy your under achieving life. :-). Yes, I am smiling cuz you’re so easy to rile up.
I can’t think of anything more "under achieving" as an adult then to be living viciously through a teenage kid. As a reminder, you pay for your kid to play. Nothing special about it.
Ha. Same old cliche lines. Poke, poke. Rile, rile. ;-)
LOL. Other poster is right and karma police have a date with you. Enjoy that!
Ha! Yes, karma hates people that work hard and succeed. Riiiigghhht.
Your 11 year old nutmeg her teammate or something? You're pumped up for no reason l. Lol..GTFOH
What are you even referring to at this point? 11 yr old nutmegs?? Have another drink bud. Poke, poke. Rile, rile. You’re so easy to upset.
Sports parents who live vicariously through their kids tend to be overcontrolling and pushy, even when they don’t mean to be.Often, parents fall into the trap of pushing a child to fulfill the dreams that they themselves never fulfilled. That trap can hurt the child, frustrate the parent, and lead to marital problems when couples disagree about those dreams.
Yes, yes. This is all true but has nothing to do with the sub-thread about privilege and how it’s wrong to pay for your kid to play ECNL or GA if that’s what they want and you have the means and worked hard to acquire those means. In other words, the sub-thread was deflected off topic by the 11yr old nutmeg comment. Anyhow, agree that living thru your kid is sad, but it’s also a natural human condition. Kind of like eating fatty food, speeding, borrowing your neighbor’s Netflix login, spending too much time on your smart phone, and worrying too much about other kids and other parents and their decisions and life choice instead of focusing on your own.
