Older one was waitlisted and never came off the waitlist. That one is a boy, so I may have known less about who else got in. Younger one was admitted to preferred magnet and waitlisted at the other. A girl, so I got exhaustive details (whether I wanted them or not) on what everyone else was doing, where they are going to middle school, if they are nervous, and what they wore their first day. I said from the start that this was anecdotal. It feels like the first year of universal screening it was hard to get in from a CES. It feels easier now. Is that true? I have no idea.
