[b]+1000. Everyone is being asked to make sacrifices for the greater good--how can people justify telling their kids that they're exempt? Of course it "helps them tremendously." But learning that sometimes you don't get to do what you want, and there's a value in doing something for others, will help them more in the long run. Their own kids are going to ask them how they managed and what are they going to say? "Oh, we didn't really follow the rules so it wasn't actually that bad." and their kids will be like "wow, you suck." [/b]
