How is it being celebrated? As a PP said above, there are millions of obese people in the world, and you are seeing one on TV.  Are you saying that the mere fact of her being on TV is a celebration?[/quote]

it's not a celebration at all. If anything her struggles with weight have been a recurring theme that while they teach people not to hate themselves and submit to the depression that can come with being overweight, her character in no way is celebrating it.[/quote]
