She’s really that big. It’s shocking she doesn’t get help. If she were an alcoholic people would tell her to get help, but apparently eating yourself to death is different. Not saying you can’t be big and healthy , I’m all for some curves, but morbid obesity is no joke.
This is exactly what drives me crazy. Her size should not be celebrated.
How is it being celebrated? As a PP said above, there are millions of obese people in the world, and you are seeing one on TV. Are you saying that the mere fact of her being on TV is a celebration?
+1
it's not a celebration at all. If anything her struggles with weight have been a recurring theme that while they teach people not to hate themselves and submit to the depression that can come with being overweight, her character in no way is celebrating it.

LOVED the last scene with Randall being awesome at golf all along. "Playing the game" like dad said!
Also loved Toby and Kate.

Yup, I totally switched teams and started rooting for the obnoxious dad. I would be pretty horrified if my child dated someone who got drunk with me the second time I saw him.
Plus, Jack was just kind of a jerk the whole time. I get that he was offended by what Rebecca's dad said after that first dinner, but a man who loved Rebecca in a healthy way would get that her dad was just looking out for her. Jack is supposed to be this super empathetic guy who values family, but he couldn't put himself in her dad's shoes enough to just think hey, whatever he thinks of me now, I'm going to show him I'm a good man and good enough for his daughter. Then just quietly go about doing it. Her dad was right. Jack was not in a good place financially or emotionally.

The Jack story about golfing with his future FIL was cringy, though. God, he got drunk and looked like a total loser!
I also liked the sex story with Toby and Kate. Toby has been less annoying lately. Kate looks so pretty with her longer hair.
+1 on Randall. I loved the Randall and Jack relationship evolving, and Jack learning more about his own blind spots on race.
I think Keven and Cassidy is going to end up as destructive for one or both of them.

Neither of them looked angry when they saw the picture. They looked sad. Everyone who thinks is was stalker-ish for him to look up her address must have never been teenagers. I would have jumped at the chance to look up my crush’s address on an application and would have driven by their house on a regular basis. I did not get a creeper vibe from him and thought they were a cute teenage couple.
We are obviously being led to believe Kevin ends up with Cassidy but I think and hope he ends up with Sophie afterall. I love their story. But if that’s the case, I’m not sure where Cassidy would fit into the big picture.
I don't think he'll wind up with Cassidy either. He was sort of beaming at her when he said, "yeah, he still likes you" when talking about her husband. I liked that part!
