Do you know that Intel is dropping ISEF next year, right?
Did you see where the person said all the Science fairs/competitions, including ISEF, should be dropped?

You saw where he mentioned Regeneron first, right? As the prime example of what is wrong with science fairs, and that Intel dropped it for that very reason?

And you saw that it dropped it before it dropped ISEF because it's so mediocre now?

And that Regeneron gives out fewer prizes and has only a national clout over ISEF's international competition?
