Nobody said that.  not a SINGLE person has denied what happened or argued that prosecuting the kids would be racist. Not a single person.

A) I have not seen any white nationalists on DCUM and B) I have not seen any post other than one about stats and blacks committing a majority of crimes (not saying I agree with that) but, maybe Jeff deleted those hateful comments from white nationalists. I think you are spending way too much energy on this issue and instead on helping find these perpetrators and spreading the message that attacking innocent tourists or anyone for that matter in our fair city is inexcusable.[/quote]

You've never seen racists and white nationalists on DCUM? Lol.

This thread included people (some deleted) who were claiming you should never approach any black person because they might all kill you, and that you should all never set foot in DC because of the risks of crime.  Also included people saying that black kids who commit crimes deserve to be shot dead.  And also included people who no doubt parachuted in here from 8chan and the like just to make this into the racist cause-du-jour.

There are plenty of places where racism and crime in DC are discussed thoughtfully, but not here.  If you want to have an honest discussion about how to reduce crime rates, it's kind of hard to do when there are people saying you should run away from/shoot all black kids.
