Are you serious? [b]People don't park cars on the sidewalks[/b], and we have ADA regulations for curb cuts and accessibility for mobility devices.  A jerk who leaves a scooter in the middle of the sidewalk is a jerk.  [/quote]

People do park cars on the sidewalk, particularly in residential areas. Have you never had to walk around a car that was parked in a driveway blocking the sidewalk? People also block curb cuts when they park, and people park in bike lanes. Another thing that people do with cars relative to sidewalks is hit and kill people who are standing on the sidewalk.

All of these people are jerks (or worse), just like people who leave scooters in the middle of the sidewalk.[/quote]
