I wish CCPTA would create a FB for verified PTA volunteers, where we could all share information and ideas again. Rule #1 would be no more posting of links to random articles. We can all google search and read on our own, thank you very much. It should be a site where PTA volunteers can post questions and solicit ideas. Parents who attend APS work sessions could post summaries of what happened for everyone else. And on issues where there is a clear consensus and a need for unified advocacy (i.e., the APS budget, capacity problems, etc.), we could come together to talk about how to influence the County Board most effectively. That's how AEM started out, but it has strayed SO FAR from that now.  [/quote]

I like this idea.

Also, I have no idea who to vote for in the CA race. We definitely need some reforms but Parisa's misrepresentations, like the "police brutality" really turn me off. Wish there was another option.[/quote]
