I think only the programming was at issue, but the DA clubs were given the responsibility of managing that instead of US Soccer. Seems what I thought might happen is the case; the clubs are going to continue the age group and align the programming with US soccer’s schedules for the older age groups. So that means while US Soccer saves some cash for referee and scout time, the clubs keep their extra revenue stream, players get their chances to break into the club at younger ages and benefit from the DA training, clubs apply the same curriculum, and the tier of competition is retained. Seems like a win for all involved. [/quote]
