It’s entirely age appropriate to have whiny behavior in public at age 3.  It is not “bad parenting”  when a three year old whines and a parent is managing the whining via a book or a device. Three years olds are not known for their impeccable manners. But guess what- they are allowed to be in public. Their parents are allowed to be in public   And sometimes kids misbehave in public. Mom of toddler and I agree with this. Kids don't belong everywhere, and if you can't get yours to behave normally without screens with the volume up, you should stay home until you can. [/quote]
