It was a dumb power play that doomed many talented AA arts students to 60-90 minute commutes. Just so DESA's wealthy proponents and politicians could say "hey, we showed THOSE PEOPLE in Georgetown who's boss in DC." It was a childish decision by adults that ignored the needs of actual kids.[/quote]
