That is NOT what she says!  Read again.  If it were not a factor, then why does the SCHEV report have top 25% of last year's (2017) class at 4.47, median at 4.23 and lowest 25% at 4.10.  Or something like that. Working off of memory.  Read between the lines.  She's trying to assuage fears. You're not listening. Of course the SCHEV report has high GPA range. Because the GPAs have been blown out of the water at many schools. Translation: this cannot be used a indicator when literally EVERYONE has >4.0.[/quote][/b]

Schev.  Top 75% at 4.44, median half 4.21, bottom 25% 4.10.  Interpret it how you want.  But that bottom quartile are he URMs,  the home-schooled, the low income students, athletes, musicians and other kids who have something the University wants.  http://research.schev.edu/enrollment/B10_FreshmenProfile.asp.  Also note ACT at 33 for top 25%.  If you are a white kid applying from Nova with no hooks that's what you have to have.[/quote]
