But it was a hard fought game.  HC won by one.  And Holy Child has traditionaly been the better team.  Potomac is definitely improving.  Its a team to watch, and may start to attract more accomplished players if they continue to win.  Holton is on the same trajectory.  They should be very strong this year.  Both Holton and Potomac have ramped up their "recruiting" and have a few strong middle school players waiting in the wings.  Its nice to see girls lacrosse getting better across the DC area.  The more strong teams (like the IAC and WCAC have) the better.  SSSAS is still the best in the area by a wide margin but seeing some other privates getting strong is a positive trend.  Hopefully it will continue.[/quote]

As does Holy Child, their middle school team has players from MC Elite, Stars and M&D. With more coming in the next few years. The new coach at Holy Child also coaches one of the club teams in the area. So they should be on the rise in the near future as well. Visi is coming back to the pack, and the others are beginning to get stronger.[/quote]
