But it was a hard fought game. HC won by one. And Holy Child has traditionaly been the better team. Potomac is definitely improving. Its a team to watch, and may start to attract more accomplished players if they continue to win. Holton is on the same trajectory. They should be very strong this year. Both Holton and Potomac have ramped up their "recruiting" and have a few strong middle school players waiting in the wings. Its nice to see girls lacrosse getting better across the DC area. The more strong teams (like the IAC and WCAC have) the better. SSSAS is still the best in the area by a wide margin but seeing some other privates getting strong is a positive trend. Hopefully it will continue.

No, they don't have as much talent as SSSAS. Not even close. But that's beside the point. The new coaches inherited an already developed, established program that according to the few and mighty, just needed different coaches. Well, they got the coaches they deserved. Karma's a bitch when it rolls back around.
