[/quote] The quote provided was from 2015 for counties and city's with population between 100 to 200 thousand. Not sure how you get rural populations of that number. Plus, if gathered in 2015 it may have been based on 2014 numbers. Since 2014 and beyond, our Council has investigated and approved raising the numbers of the Alexandria police force. I will stand by my original statement that Alexandria City does have one of the highest numbered police force of local jurisdictions.[/quote]
