This.  The woman's lawyer is saying that "Taylor faced mental health issues after having an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage, which he said contributed to the shooting."  So it's not enough that she gave birth to this devil's spawn of a child when she was 19 years old - she has continued getting pregnant despite being a drug user and not having custody of her own child.  Her grandfather apparently has custody.  On what planet does a great-grandparent have responsibility for raising a 6-year-old severely disturbed child?  She is a perfect argument for mandatory long-acting birth control, or if that doesn't work, sterilization.[/quote]

I’m guessing that money is involved here. Quite often when the parents are messed up, the grandparents get money from the government to have official custody of the grandkids, even though often those kids continue to basically be raised (or not) by the messed up parents.[/quote]
