This kid is headed for a life of crime.
He needs to be removed from the home and put in some kind of military school. Yes, even at 6 years old.
No, not military school. Berating these kids and making them feel like crap for behaviors beyond their control is not the solution. The kid needs intensive, significant, compassionate 24x7 residential treatment with skilled therapists that specialize in young children.

My post will probably be deleted, but the Roe vs. Wade reversal is going to unleash a whole lot more of this in 5 to 7 years.
This. The woman's lawyer is saying that "Taylor faced mental health issues after having an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage, which he said contributed to the shooting." So it's not enough that she gave birth to this devil's spawn of a child when she was 19 years old - she has continued getting pregnant despite being a drug user and not having custody of her own child. Her grandfather apparently has custody. On what planet does a great-grandparent have responsibility for raising a 6-year-old severely disturbed child? She is a perfect argument for mandatory long-acting birth control, or if that doesn't work, sterilization.

Great. Where is the child?
I believe living with his grandfather.
Homeschooled? I would hope so.
The child should be in juvi or a fully committed to a mental rehabilitation center
There’s no juvi for six year olds. He should be required to have extensive therapy and schooling in a special school.
Yes, but based on reports of his actions and behavior prior to the shooting, that should have happened long ago and didn’t. So I’m assuming that homeschooling is the best the public can hope for here.
It is absurd that there seems to no longer be any alternative schooling options for children who pose such a threat to others.
Or maybe there wasn’t enough government funding for the help this child and family members so clearly needed.
