RUSSIAN/US/NATO BASE LOCATIONS: The US Bases are in other countries by INVITATION (not INVASION). In other words, the host nation countries WANTED them there. Huge difference you kinda glossed over. lol. ENDING THE WAR: As was said many times by someone else, the War ends when Russia decides to pull out of Ukraine. It's as simple as that! WEST DESTROYING RUSSIA: Russia is destroying itself. Aside from providing weapons and supplies, the West really hasn't done anything except stand around and watch this abomination continue. However, after watching this clip, I have no doubts, reservations or apprehensions anymore that the Ukrainians are doing a righteous service for the entire world and should be honored as such. https://t.me/ukr_sof/528 RUSSIAN NAZI CHECK: 1. "Nazism is a form of fascism, with disdain for liberal democracy and the parliamentary system" ex. anti-West; CHECK! 2. "It incorporates a dictatorship" ex. Putin; CHECK! 3. "fervent antisemitism" ex. Jails or deports Jews to Siberia or Israel; CHECK! 4. "scientific racism, white supremacy, social Darwinism"; https://www.latimes.com/world/africa/la-fg-russia-africans-20141102-story.html; CHECK! 5. "use of eugenics" ex. Russian olympians; CHECK! 6. "anti-communist"... oh? Only 5 out of 6, so Russians are technically not Nazi's (just wannabe's). LAST 20 YEARS: Russia has not been a good global citizen. The Russian Government continues to undermine other governments, invade it's neighbors, and has committed just about every war crime possible. US PROMISE NOT TO EXPAND NATO EAST: NATO didn't expand, until Russia became a War Criminal. Finland, Sweden had no intention of joining NATO prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, so who's fault is that? JULIA DAVIS: Is now being blocked from showing clips by VESTI on "copyright grounds": https://twitter.com/JuliaDavisNews/status/1658691883248525312 So the Russian news is now only for Russian consumption? Interesting. The war "is fateful for us," Shakhnazarov said, "our political elites have to realize this. We should start admitting that this is not simply a special military operation but a war. If we lose this war, we will disappear" like some Native American tribes which "have simply vanished." He went on to suggest that defeat for Moscow's forces in Ukraine would lead to books being written about "how Russia lost itself and Eurasia." Solovyov chimed in to say he hoped Ukraine understood that "if we lose, we are taking the whole world with us." "Let me remind you what the Supreme Commander said, 'who needs the world if Russia isn't in it?'" Solovyov said, referring to a quote by President Vladimir Putin. The anchor then went on say that Russia should use its nuclear weapons, shed restrictions against testing and "convincingly demonstrate what we have." https://www.newsweek.com/russia-ukraine-solovyov-war-1800807
Like many Ukraine supporters, your grasp of the truth is tenuous. First is that American bases in Germany are most definitely there as a result of invasion or are we just pretending WWII never happened? Second is that NATO was expanding before Putin was ever president. Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland were all admitted to NATO in 1999. The expansion into the Baltics also began before Putin was president. Third is that Russia has been no worse a global citizen than any number of nations, including the US or Israel. Nations that have invaded other nations and undermined governments around the world. Fourth is that Finland had been moving closer to NATO since the 1990s, having entered a partnership in 1994, conducting joint military drills and aligning their military equipment and structure to match NATO since then. Sweden is similar in that it is already a NATO partner and uses compatible hardware and structure. These were all moves after the cold war ended.
First, if the Germans asked us to close bases, we would; but they wanted a slower closure rate than the US did. I think it had to do with the impact on their economy? "The United States Army has 40 military installations in Germany, two of which are scheduled to close. Over 220 others have already been closed, mostly following the end of the Cold War in the 1990s. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_Army_installations_in_Germany Second, if you recall, Russia had representatives at NATO back then to monitor. In fact, Russia was in Sarajevo with OSCE (in the Baltics) during the Bosnian elections in 1996 to ensure the Serbs were treated fairly, so not sure what your point is? Third.. you feel nothing for the people who were caught in this fire? It really shows just how unsalvageable people are in Russia, doesn't it? https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/bakhmut-fire-russia-uses-phosphorus-193019707.html Fourth, Finland and Sweden freaked out after their civilians saw what Russia did to Ukraine. Did you expect them to 'lie down' as well? Heh. Sorry you're so disappointed. Not everyone loves having borscht shoved down their throats.
Ukrainians fought hard to claim borsht as their own national dish. So the joke's on you. https://www.npr.org/2022/07/01/1109319174/unesco-declares-ukraine-borsch-ukrainian-heritage#:~:text=Often%20written%20borscht%20in%20English,heritage%2C%20identity%20and%20tradition.%22 Ukraine asked UNESCO to consider borsch as its "intangible cultural heritage" long before the war. On Friday, because of the war, the United Nations culture agency said for the first time it inscribed a cultural heritage element for safeguarding "as a matter of extreme urgency."
Wow. I'm spanked silly and my bum is raw. Ouch. You really showed me. So is NATO locking up Russian hypersonic missile scientists too? Russia says hypersonic missile scientists face 'very serious' treason accusations The cases showed that "any article or report can lead to accusations of high treason", the open letter said. "In this situation, we are not only afraid for the fate of our colleagues. We just do not understand how to continue to do our job." The letter also cited the case of Dmitry Kolker, another Siberian scientist who was arrested last year on suspicion of state treason and flown to Moscow despite suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer. Kolker, a laser specialist, died two days later. It said such cases were having a chilling effect on young Russian scientists. "Even now, the best students refuse to come to work with us, and our best young employees are leaving science. A number of research areas that are critically important to laying the fundamental groundwork for the aerospace technology of the future are simply closing because employees are afraid to engage in such research." https://www.yahoo.com/news/kremlin-says-three-scientists-face-100444826.html?guccounter=1 I can understand why the Russian Government would be upset that a standard Patriot missile can shoot down a state-of-the-art Russian hypersonic missile. It's kind of embarrassing, don't you think? Calls into question whether or not the SATAN II would work or not, right? I mean, if the best-and-brightest don't want to work for the Russian Government, it's somewhat understandable. I would point out that while you think about that, just remember that NATO hasn't fired a single shot at Russia. The question you need to ask yourself is whether NATO bluffs and weather NATO weaponry can be intercepted? Russia isn't doing so hot against the HIMARS and that's 80's technology.
