Just because they are more well known for STEM doesn’t mean they’re not also strong in humanities/social science. STEM just seems to take precedence in most people’s minds. But these are all excellent schools for humanities as well. I agree w picking Rice for a shy kid though simply because it’s a smaller, probably more nurturing environment. [/quote]
