Ah yes, another member of the loud 30% who thinks they’re the majority. In reality, book banning - even for school libraries and Republicans everywhere are going way beyond that - is extremely unpopular among most Americans.

Most people get that interest in sex and sexuality is natural in kids and teenagers, and books — both non-fiction and fiction— that are age appropriate have a place in school libraries.

Personally, I’ll go further and say that I’d rather have kids reading about sex instead of or before actually experiencing sex, especially if their interest is primarily rooted in curiosity.  I’ll add that a few parents should not get to determine what’s available and what’s not to a school full of students, or a county of students.  If someone wants to restrict their own kid’s reading, that’s fine.  [/quote]
