Children's is terrible.
No, it's really not. Stop being bitter about your kid's autism diagnosis. Children's successfully treats a wide range of children just not your fragile ego.
My child does not have autism. My child has a language disorder. We went at age two and they said my child was fin. Went for a second opionon that was very different. Children's was very wrong.
It doesn't mean they are terrible. Even the best specialists get stuff wrong from time to time.
Children's was terrible. Agree, even the best specialists can get it "wrong" as they are often doing predictions but it was clear my child had a language concern and the evaluator was very dismissive about it. We were referred to Gallaudet but didn't go as it was too far. Interesting to hear about their evaluations but we've had several evaluations with just a few raw scores and a recommendation for therapy. Those were really disappointing.
