In fact, what is dangerous to the lives of trans people is these kinds of stories. They're unsubstantiated, but with suicide overall there is absolutely a contagion effect. The only indication that a Trump administration would in any way affect trans issues is that Pence said he believes the issue of trans bathroom access should be left up to the states... as it currently is. So these media outlets are encouraging angst and unfortunately, suicidal thoughts, by reporting on an issue that doesn't actually exist.

Irresponsible and disgusting. I voted HRC but this is the kind of liberal baseless panic that HAS to stop. This could actually be a matter of life and death. This is fear mongering.[/quote]
