It's not just racism. It is looking like a textbook slide into fascism.  I don't necessarily think I agree with all the protestors motives and certainly don't agree with violence but those of us speaking out are in many cases doing so not out if concerns about particular policy positions but out of deep concern that America as we know it may be crumbling. We are speaking out as patriots. Our founding fathers would be turning over in their graves right now.

I'm beyond concerns about particular economic policies, ACA, etc...let the Rs do their thing. I want America as a free country with a first amendment when Trump is done with it.  I'm appalled by many of the comments from Trump supporters in the web who are happy to punish journalists, curtail the right to assemble and protest, etc...you know a liberal org like the ACLU has defended the right of the KKK to march. Our civil liberties don't just apply to the voices we like.[/quote]
