The drive from Miami can be a very fun experience and I'd recommend it if you like to drive and see the sights along the way. However, I don't know that I'd like to do it again. The one time that I drove I parked my car at the hotel and never touched it again during my stay. Btw, the drive back to Miami was not nearly as fun. Flying into Key West was much easier and afforded some beautiful views along the way. I flew direct from Atlanta, a major hub, so it's no tougher than flying to most other places [/quote]
