Pp where do you live? Is it in the area op is looking or even nearish like 20906? I would venture to bet not or you would not be posting that.

None of us that have lived in that larger area and are steering op away from the specific spots she asked about and towards other areas nearby that are more middle class are against living in an area with immigrants. If so we would be telling her to cram into a condo in a W district or move to Olney and drive for 1.5 hours each way to work.

It is rather living in an area that is almost ALL immigrants that is the issue - as it would be with living in any lower income area where added onto that detraction you have a likely language barrier with many neighbors. Pp, if you live in Bethesda and are saying "what is so bad about living by immigrants - I live by people from France and India?", then you have no clue and cannot be helpful to op. [/quote]
