It's been a real bonding experience, watching it together. We watched the final episode a couple of days ago and both of us wound up crying. I agree, Jess was awful to everyone at that stage, but I also felt so sorry for him. He had a big chip on his shoulder from his dad leaving him, and just never seemed to fit in anywhere. It annoyed me how rude he always was to adults. He does get better though! I think once he finds Rory, he realizes what a great girl she is and he wants to be a better person for her. [/quote]
