In fact, all parents should be looking at / asking for the same information. Since the SOLs are not set up to show growth from year to year it is especially important to look at each year and compare where your child is relative to the class, school, district and state. This helps parents know if their child is making progress, maintaining place or falling behind relative to the age group.[/quote]
