It's ok OP, unclench. You sound really un-fun. It's not like they're eating a pound of fudge. You're borderline turning this into a forbidden food which is going to back fire.

The fact that your kids are not even telling you about it means that they anticipate your negative reaction. And that is sad.

How about you find a compromise...maybe on MWF you can have an icecream treat with your buddies. Or if they choose ice cream at camp then maybe a smaller dessert after dinner. [/quote]
