If you're getting "looks" from people, that's a different matter.  But people need to get over themselves.  Pope Francis has actually spoken about this:  “…children cry, they are noisy, they don’t stop moving. But it really irritates me when I see a child crying in church and someone says they must go out. I really dislike this attitude. My kids made noise when they were babies, and not an inconsiderable amount. I don't like subjecting other worshippers to that, and I don't like missing the whole service and I don't like sending DH out with them to me everything, either. I love a cry room.[/quote]
