To switch dog foods, make the change slowly over a period of time, e.g. two weeks. Add a little of the new food on Day 1, and then each day increase the amount of the new food relative to the old. By the end of ten days or two weeks, your pup will be on the new food without having had transition issues wrt digestion. We feed dry food and mix in a little wet (of the same brand) every couple of days.[/quote]
