She was wearing a baby (approximately 6 months so kind of big) in a front pack and holding the hand of about a 4 1/2 year old boy and a 2 1/2 year old girl.
The little boy exited first and as the woman entered the door frame the little girl pulled back and the baby's  head hit the door jam.  Baby did not cry but the woman was furious with the little girl and yelled her name and out of frustration immediately slapped her full on in the face. Palm to the face. Pretty hard. The girl screamed and then could not catch her breath and the woman moved outside the door and got down on the little girls level and continued screaming at her. It was so disturbing.  Several people had to have seen and just ignored it.

Any good ides for an appropriate response or was ignoring it the way to go.  I really feel like the woman had a terrible response.  But I am sure she was just stressed out.  [/quote]
