When was the conference you posted - November 2015?  I took the OP to note the close timeframe, not to mention physical closeness, of last month's event and the shooting.  Did a shooting also (possibly) result from the event you posted about?

If it is your contention that sermons calling for killing gays are acceptable unless you can connect them directly to the killing of gays, you are going to need to show evidence that the Orlando shooter -- who was not from Orlando -- heard the Imam and was motivated by his words.

I don't condone sermons to kill anyone, no matter what the result.

I just can't stand when my kids fight back with the "well, he did it toooooo" whine.

To your next point, though, he lived in Ft. Pierce, which is a tiny Florida town.  My daughter went to college there, and I know for a fact Orlando is typically where St. Lucie County young adults went for a night out.  I wouldn't be surprised if he did attend the sermon, if that was something that interested him.[/quote]
