I don't condone sermons to kill anyone, no matter what the result.

I just can't stand when my kids fight back with the "well, he did it toooooo" whine.

To your next point, though, he lived in Ft. Pierce, which is a tiny Florida town. My daughter went to college there, and I know for a fact Orlando is typically where St. Lucie County young adults went for a night out. I wouldn't be surprised if he did attend the sermon, if that was something that interested him.

With homosexuals, it’s the same. Out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now.”
