3. Are there higher-level math classes available, and starting in which grade? What is the standard sequence at DCI: general math in 6th, algebra in 7th, geometry in 8th? Or is it integrated math, Euro-style, and if so, is there an advanced version of that for students who are really excited about math? 5. Is the school still scheduled to be at 16th and Aspen for the start of the 2017-18 school year? Thanks in advance.
Re 3 -- They do integrated math. Students are placed based on recommendations from their feeder schools and observations by teachers in first few weeks of school. You need to ask the administration how kids coming from non-feeders are assessed. Re 4 -- Yes they are scheduled to be at Walter Reed building by 2017-18.
