I'm the OP to the "help me exist as a parent" post. It got highjacked into a WOHM vs SAHM schedule before I was able to get more feedback. One thing I liked that someone posted was to have a schedule for chores to do around the house. That way, when I see something dirty/laundry/etc I can think "I'll get to that on Tuesday" (or whenever the scheduled day is.) I tend to get so overwhelmed every day: there's never-ending daily tasks (meals, dishes, tidying up) and also big jobs: laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc. I am going to get a cleaning lady 1x a month for a deep cleaning which will be a huge help. I was a classroom teacher so I am all about schedules and being organized. I'd love to hear others schedules or feel free to create one for me! Below is what I want to accomplish: Daily: tidying up dishes after meals water plants exercise outdoor time/activity with baby meal prep as needed, but generally 3x a day. DH does dinner occasionally. Weekly: vacuum (2x) dust (2x) mop and clean kitchen counters bathroom (DH job) laundry switch bedding PS: I have an 11 month old and am due in December with #2. Baby naps 2x a day, 8:30-9:30 and 2-3. He goes to bed at 6pm.
