[/quote] FWIW the comprehensive exams aren't given in 5th grade. My DC was shocked after her DCPS to have weekly tests, but it became perfectly normal and non-stressful after a few months. I kind of think it is good to be tested more often so that they are demystified. Especially before they really count, like APs and SATs.[/quote]
