Trump's support among neo-Nazis and white supremacists is well-known and has been heavily discussed. But, the more specific issue of anti-semitism among Trump's supporters has recently been getting attention. Much of this is illustrated by attacks that have been launched against reporters who have been seen as critical of Trump. For instance, Julia Ioffe became a target of anti-Semitic attacks after she wrote a profile of Melania Trump that was viewed as unflattering (the Trumps also say it was inaccurate). Donald Trump refused to condemn the attacks. Separately, Melania Trump said that Ioffe had brought the attacks on herself. More recently, Jonathan Weisman -- the New York Times Washington Bureau Chief -- tweeted out a link to the Post op-ed that is being discussed here about fascism coming to American. In response, he was the target of a torrent of anti-Semitic abuse: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/erik-wemple/wp/2016/05/19/new-york-times-staffer-tweets-out-op-ed-critical-of-trump-faces-anti-semitic-avalanche/ Trump has repeatedly retweeted tweets from neo-Nazis and had a very difficult time denouncing the support of David Duke. If you have the stomach to venture on to white supremacists websites, you will find ecstatic levels of support for Trump. For instance, here the Daily Stormer attacks Weismen for the episode discussed above: http://www.dailystormer.com/anti-trump-nyt-jew-has-a-breakdown-goes-on-rampage-retweeting-anti-semites/ "A disgusting anti-Trump Jew from the New York Times had a total breakdown yesterday and began mass-retweeting anti-Semites." Here is the Daily Stormer touting Trump's support among women: http://www.dailystormer.com/poll-trump-surging-with-women/
But Trump is supporting women against the vile pro-rape hag Hillary Clinton (who most women already don’t like). When he continues to slam her for protecting her alleged rapist husband, these numbers are going to continue to rise! Because just like the Daily Stormer, Trump loves women and only wants what’s best for them – and that’s a traditional patriarchal White society!
I assume that Trump grew up among Jews and has associated and worked with them nearly his entire life. His son-in-law is Jewish. His speech to AIPAC was as strong as any that has been delivered. So, I don't believe for a second that Trump himself is the slightest anti-Semitic. However, it does seem that he is comfortable having the support of anti-Semites. My assumption is that Trump's entire campaign has been based on fleecing the rubes and white supremacists are just one more group of rubes to fleece. But, like so much else about the Trump campaign, in the process of taking advantage of the rubes, he is unleashing a lot of dangerous forces in society. Anti-Semitism is one of the more dangerous.
