She asked if we wanted them to retake it for $12 or take a chance and send it in. I asked the repercussions of sending it in and the passport agency not accepting the photo. And she said that they would still process the passport and just send us an email for the part that is missing. In other words, it wouldn't mean starting over from scratch, but it could delay it a bit while we got them the new photo. It turned out that the photo was fine, so I cannot confirm.[/quote]
