A very active troll showed up here at about 4 pm and posted 56 messages -- most of them profane troll posts. The last of the posts was posted at about 6 pm. As far as I can tell, the first report of any of those posts was at 5:15 pm. However, I was doing other things and didn't notice that report -- and many subsequent reports that followed it -- until about 6:30. I was just starting to remove posts when you started this thread.

Just to be clear, I don't accept your precept that common sense posts are being deleted (unless they quote inappropriate posts, which should be self-explanatory). Second, I don't agree that vulgar, mean-spirited posts are allowed to stand. Your presumption that I was going to leave those posts -- along with your claim that I remove common sense posts -- suggests that you don't have a clear understanding of how this site is moderated.

Easy Jeff.  I just noticed that one post disappeared.  I didn't understand how that happened, as the others were still there.  I understand if you are prickly with all the work you had to do to monitor this guy, but I didn't mean any huge insult to either you or your site.  Apologies.  [/quote]
