I have a hs freshman with significant disabilities who has an IEP. Dc has had an iep since 2nd grade. Dc had neuropsych testing done in 2013. Is that recent enough to satisfy part of the documentation to request accomodations for testing? Do we need to redo the full scale of testing? Any advice and information about your experiences are helpful. Thanks.
You will need testing to be no more than 3 years old when you submit the request.
So unless your child will be sitting for the exams this year, or maybe next fall, yes. But you will also probably need an updated evaluation to keep his/her IEP in place for the last year of high school, depending on when the last triennial review was.
