Tons of techies and hipsters are looking for cheap, small spaces in good neighborhoods, so someone's going to get it. SOMA is getting better to live in. Really, SF is a reasonably low crime place. Most of the crimes are car break ins. You're planning on public transit, so you could be totally car free. Maybe use a car share if you have to drive occasionally. But if you remove the car, you free yourself from the parking and a lot of the crime concerns. Anything near GGP would be awesome too. Lots of families, GGP is awesome, great place to live. [/quote]
