Has LCPS provided any details other than listing ALL the schools in Ashburn, Brambleton and the eastern part of the county as possibly affected? We are considering these areas, but having this affect every school we are looking at means we will be very hesitant to go to Loudoun county. Usually in FCPS they give proposals for the boundary adjustments and include maps. Is there anything like this in LCPS?
There is but there's a series of meetings that sort of progress the issue and those will probably come out after the first or second meeting about this. The final decision will come March 29th I believe it said, so something about the proposed changes and a map that shows that will come out before then. They just redid boundaries for a bunch of schools a month or two ago so I'm kind of surprised it's coming up again. It won't actually affect all of those schools, most likely 1-2, they just list all of them just in case so that parents can be aware and follow along.
