thanks!  I kind of wanted to get the COGAT score before doing anything but I guess we will just go ahead and submit it.   We are in a partial immersion school so I am not even sure what we would do in the off chance that she did get in.   [/quote]

Don't overthink it right now. If admitted to AAP, you simply get one more set of options as the child is eligible for Level IV services through 8th grade - so you can opt them in or out at any time in between.
