thanks! I kind of wanted to get the COGAT score before doing anything but I guess we will just go ahead and submit it. We are in a partial immersion school so I am not even sure what we would do in the off chance that she did get in.
Don't overthink it right now. If admitted to AAP, you simply get one more set of options as the child is eligible for Level IV services through 8th grade - so you can opt them in or out at any time in between.
Similarly, if not found eligible this year, you can refer every year if you wanted to.
