Contrary to the speculation about a Hispanic nominee, I'd suggest that she would gain nothing by nominating a Hispanic or AA nominee for the VP slot. The reason is that both these groups are already a lock for the Democrats because they are unlikely to go with the Republicans unless Rubio is the nominee. Both Trump and Cruz have taken a hard line with regard to illegals so neither of them would draw Hispanics.

I would think her best bet would be to select someone who would either bring in one of the swing states that may be up for grabs or someone who blue collar voters can relate to since they are the ones who are presently drawn to Trump. I can't see Hillary attracting the blue collar voters - she would need someone who can relate to them.

The millenials are the other group that need to be sold on Hillary. They are unlikely to vote for a Republican but unless they are excited about the ticket, they may just choose to sit it out.
