Many internship opportunities in state government that can translate into a job after graduation. I ended up running a campaign for a state rep my senior year and working for him full time during my last semester. Got a job in NYC in Public Relations quickly after graduating and my career took off from there. You don't have to go to a DC school to get some campaign and policy experience under your belt.
